James runs the 2025 London Marathon for The Lord's Taverners!

I am really excited to be running the London Marathon on 27 April to raise money for the Lord’s Taverners.

The Lord’s Taverners is a charity which uses inclusive and impactful cricket programmes to empower young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds. Their programmes help participants to develop knowledge, skills, capabilities, and confidence to overcome the challenges of inequality, raise their aspirations, and reach their potential.
 
I’ve chosen to run for “Teams Tavs” as the charity’s work strikes a chord with my own experience of sport. Cricket has given me so many opportunities to meet great people, learn new skills, and be part of supportive communities. I’ve been incredibly lucky, and want to open up similar opportunities for others through this great charity.

• Every £100 donated could allow seven participants to attend life changing sessions for a whole month, completely free.
• Every £50 donated could cover venue hire for a week, and additionally allow one participant to attend inclusive cricket programmes for a month.
• Every £15 could allow one participant to attend inclusive cricket programmes for a whole month.
