Jamie Kayaks the Thames!

Over the next academic year, I’m taking a year out of university. Not for a break, but for a purpose. I’ll be dedicating my time to supporting the Johnson Beharry VC Foundation, a charity doing extraordinary work for young people across London who are vulnerable to violence. And to kick things off, I’m diving straight into a challenge: a sponsored kayak down the Thames. This year, I’m helping the JBVC Foundation launch a new project focused on protecting children who are at risk, giving them safety, support, and the chance at the future they deserve. Your donation will directly help provide that lifeline, making sure these young people are not left to face danger alone. On Friday 11th September, 2:30pm, I will depart Battersea, aiming to finish in Greenwich by 5:30pm. I’ll be taking on this challenge alongside an incredible group of people, all united in support of the JBVC Foundation and the children it serves.
