Janine's London Marathon 2022

On 2nd Oct 2022 I will once again be taking on the London Marathon 🏃‍♀️👟🏅 (eek!). Marathons are SO BLOOMING HARD! Not simply because it's a long way on the day, but it takes hours and hours and hours of training in the run up, there will be so many runs I never want to do, so many Sunday mornings lost to the 'long runs', and so much time spent worrying about injuries and toilet trips!!
BUT to focus my mind this year I am fundraising for NARCOLEPSY UK. Those who know me well will know that last year AJ was diagnosed with Narcolespy & Cataplexy, and those that know him will not be surprised in the least by this! 😴 Narcolepsy is a rare neurological condition, an auto immune disease that attacks the brain leaving it unable to regulate sleep and waking patterns normally. Needless to say this has a huge impact on daily life for those living with Narcolepsy and Narcolespy UK offer support, guidance & information for those living with the condition and their families & carers BUT they can only do this if money can be raised through fundraising events like this!
