Our story
On Sunday 11th May 2025 the three of us (Jason, Jo & Jude) are taking-on a marathon - yes, all 26.2 miles!
We are walking in aid of two fabulous charities, more details below. How did we get involved… well, we love the idea of a challenge. We have completed similar challenges many years ago, although with lots of extra years under the belt this is going to be a real challenge. We are not as fit as we used to be.
Who are the charities and why should you consider sponsoring us?
WalkWithMe is a volunteer group which raises money for charity in Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

Description:
Since 1971, No5 has been providing early intervention counselling and outreach for young people aged 11-25 who live, work or study in the ‘RG’ postcode area.
We offer free, confidential, open-access mental health support and counselling face-to-face, online and in local secondary schools. We also have a programme of outreach support delivered by our Young Ambassadors who create online content and support to help young people feel better able to take charge of their mental health and feel more in control.

Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres
People with cancer need places like these. Located in the grounds of major NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's Centres are places that can give the extra emotional, practical and social support that people with cancer need.
