St Christopher's School NW3 5AE is raising money for Jeans for Genes Campaign
Jeans for Genes Day- Friday 22nd September 2023
Did you know that over 3.5 million people in the UK are living with a genetic condition, affecting 1-in-10 families?
Next Friday, we will be celebrating Jeans for Genes Day, which is an annual fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders UK. The money we raise will help them to provide support and specialised care to individuals and families living with a genetic condition.
Every £1 adds up and makes a difference. It’s called ‘change’ because it does exactly that. £3 could pay for art & craft supplies for a children’s group and £30 could pay for a genetic counselling line for an hour, so our small change really adds up to makes a BIG difference!
Girls are invited to wear an item of denim on this day, such as jeans, dungarees, skirt, jacket (of any colour). We will also be 'dropping everything and disco dancing in denim' throughout the day! Jean-ius! All of this merriment in return for an online donation.
Please could we ask that the girls wear their school uniform along with their denim, including school shoes or trainers.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Jeans for Genes Campaign.
