Jess’s Challenge

As some of you may know Jess has set challenges over the last 5 years to raise money for charities she loves. This year is no exception, though in these strange times we did wonder whether it would happen. Jess has never let anything stand in her way but over the years her disabilities have sometimes stopped her taking part such as the zip wire and climbing Snowdon. So I was wondering what she would come up with? “Mum I want to shave my head, will you do it?” I am tempted but think I should perhaps leave Jess to be the star of this one. She will be having a very close shave with what is left being dyed green!
Her charities this year are Macintyre and Where Next? Both these organisations are so important to her and no more at this present time. Macintyre are a care provider who have turned Jess’s life round and now she has gone back to her flat having been staying with me the care has been fantastic. Where Next have been part of Jess’s life for almost 15 years they to provide care but also help with life skills and the garden centre where Jess works are like a second family to her. As a family we cannot thank both these charities for the amazing work they do for Jess, her friends and many others. Jess would like to raise £1000, we know it is a lot of money but it would be wonderful if we could, so if you could help in any way by donating or sharing we would be over the moon and it would make Jess’s smile grow even bigger!
