Sponsored Wing Walk for Citizen's Advice

Hi we are Jess and Jas and we are raising money for the Citizens Advice Bureau by doing a wing walk. This means we will be strapped to the outside of a plane as it takes off, flies, and lands.

Citizen's Advice is an amazing charity made up mostly of volunteers that are devoted to helping to support people from all walks of life in a variety of difficult situations including work, debt, benefits, housing, and immigration related.

Although to many people citizen's advice is not the first charity that comes to mind, they are such an important charity as they help so many people. Citizen's Advice was able to help people with over 25000 varying issues last year just in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Bureau.

Personally, both of us have been involved with citizens advice in recent times, and we hope the funds we raise will enable more people to be helped as we were. Jas was supported by her adviser throughout the process of applying for a spouse visa for her husband who is Canadian when she didn't have anybody else to turn to and they faced complications in the process. Seeing the good that they do led Jess to want to be a part of this helping community and she recently started working with Citizen's Advice Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This charity has impacted our lives dramatically and we are passionate about the good that Citizen's Advice do.

We are fun loving and adventurous individuals, however wing walking is daring even for us! That said, we are determined to raise funds to help such a significant charity continue to do the good that they do.
