Jo & Co.’s Malvern Hills Nightwalk

In 2020 I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Despite a lot of uncertainty as covid made itself known, I had the most excellent care and treatment. 5 years on my husband Colin and I are thankful for every day and want to mark this milestone by raising some money for two of the organisations that kept me here!

Worcestershire Breast Unit provides  assessment and treatment for the 800 women and 7 men who are diagnosed with breast cancer in Worcestershire each year. The Unit is run by the NHS, however the charity based at the Unit, Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven, raise the funds to provide invaluable services and any clinical needs of the team over and above NHS provision to keep the Unit at the forefront of patient care.  It is truly an incredible place!

Breast Cancer Now is a leading national charity that provides information and support for families affected by breast cancer and funds life-saving research. They were a massive source of support throughout my treatment.

Me, Colin, and a motley crue of our good friends are undertaking a charity night walk across the beautiful Malvern Hills, which will be a challenging trek in the dark! We are so grateful for any donation, however big or small.
