We are halfway through our epic charity bike ride. 300 miles cracked, starting in Mizen Head (County Cork) and crossing the Cork & Kerry mountains, over the River Shannon into Clare past Galway bay and into Mayo. I am raising money for BICA(Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal), and following on from Des Lennon a great father in law and a great group of people who over 24 years ago started a charity cycle ride event. All money raised goes to small charities that unfortunately don't get the funding they need from Local or Central Government, including Midwifery Bereavement, Birmingham and Laura Lynn hospices and Soft UK (for children affected with Edward’s & Patau’s syndrome).
