Sahara Desert 250km Trek

Our story
Jimmy, Dave, Fin & Arch are trekking 250km(ish) over the mountainous Sahara desert to raise funds for a great cause.
Our original plans to do the Jordan trail have been s**tcanned due to rising tensions and cancelled flights 🤧
The trek will be unsupported so we’ll be carrying all of our supplies and sleeping under the stars during the expedition.
Starting in the West Sahara Desert, mid - December 2024, we’ll trek south for 7 days across the hilly desert.🐪
The funds raised will be donated to a charity that supports the health, well-being, and welfare of serving members, their families, and veterans. The charity provides support through: Respite breaks, Counseling services, and Grants helping to meet immediate needs during personal crises.

Update, 215km completed.

Our jolly has come to an end, we achieved just over 200km (slightly less than we set out to do, due to the altitude on the first part of the trek causing us to be in bobbins). A mega trip, thanks to everyone who has donated / those who continue to donate until the end of this year when we close this page.

5th night under the stars completed, long walks today, fin got mugged by a kid and is now without any harribos, his morale has tanked.

A night move last night to our next part of the trek resulted in our vehicle being stuck in the middle of no where, some locals helped us in the morning, off on our next trek now.
