Jordan's Mighty Stride for GCA!

Jordan Stewart is raising money for Murray's Initiative

My story

Hello and thank you for checking out my page!

I am taking on the Mighty Stride to raise funds for Glasgow Council on Alcohol, an organisation that is very close to my heart!

GCA works to reduce the harm caused by alcohol misuse by providing a range of support services such as alcohol counselling, groupwork sessions and employability support.

I have chosen to walk for GCA as I am fortunate to be able to witness first-hand the incredible work that the organisation does within the recovery communities and for individuals that are experiencing addiction. Growing up in the Greater Glasgow area; addiction is something that has always been around throughout my life and I have always been interested in how this affects our society and what we can do to provide support to the people that need it most. The funds raised will go back into the Feel Good Friday drop-in sessions that offer activities and a supportive environment to the participants that attend, while promoting positive health and wellbeing.

I really appreciate any support and am so proud to be taking on this challenge.
