Josh Hutchison's Run for Star School, Rwanda

On 23rd June 2013, Josh plans to run the Torbay Half-Marathon, raising funds to buy tables and chairs for the dining room of the Star School, Rwanda. Currently many of the children have to sit on the floor to eat their lunch. They still remain cheerful but would love to sit at tables!

The money raised will be administered by Mission Possible UK who do much to support the children of Star School. Mission Possible also supports children and families at risk in several countries, including Bulgaria, Burundi, Uganda and Rwanda.

A couple of years ago, Josh did a 10K run and raised almost £2000 to buy a water tank for the school, so the children have clean water to drink.

Please give generously! The children of Star School will be grateful.

UNFORTUNATELY, JOSH HAS DEVELOPED SHIN SPLINTS AND HAS ALSO INJURED HIS KNEE LIGAMENTS. HE WILL THEREFORE NOT BE RUNNING ON 23RD JUNE BUT WILL BE MARSHALLING AT THAT EVENT INSTEAD. HOWEVER HE STILL WANTS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THIS GOOD CAUSE, SO AS LONG AS HIS INJURIES ARE HEALED HE PLANS TO RUN A 10K ON 4TH AUGUST.
