Tim Butler is raising money for Jason Robinson Foundation
Jason Robinson OBE founded the Jason Robinson Foundation, supporting children in deprived areas of the UK. The foundation has a range of different initiatives from mentoring to providing equipment all with the aim of helping them get on in life and overcome challenges.
This cycle challenge is nowhere near as tough as what some of the children face in their everyday lives, but it is to raise important funds for the foundation and help those children.
The event is cycling from North to South Sardinia around 400km including some pretty 'interesting' mountains on the way in just 3 days. For me there is the added 'bonus' of being the appointed charity videographer to capture the trip for them. This will mean a change from the usual bike and the addition of quite a chunk of weight in the form of kit!
There are almost 40 people doing this to try and raise a big chunk of money to keep these very important programmes across the UK going to help children succeed in life. Please, please help these children and sponsor me for this trip which starts on the 19th September.
