40 Mile Derwent Watershed Walk
Event date: 15th May 2010
My story
I am walking the Derwent Watershed which is a 40 mile hike through the Dark Peak District taking in such joys as Kinder Scout, Win Hill, Bleaklow Stones. I anticipate that the walk will take between 14 and 17 hours - if the weather is kind and the legs don't notice!! In addition to, hopefully, the satisfaction of completing the walk, I am hoping to raise a little bit of money for the East Midlands Dogs Rescue and Rainbows in Loughborough, if you could help I would really appreciate this. Thank you.
