Julia and Adam's Wedding Gifts for Charity

We would love it if, instead of wedding gifts, you could donate to our two chosen charities, Care UK Charity & Yolo Jo.

Due to way this platform works all donations will be split equally - message us if you'd rather send us the donation directly & who it is for.

CARE UK Charity (based near us in Warrington) collects items of clothing and furniture no longer wanted and passes them to people in need. Through referrals, they support many families and individuals in the North West, who through no fault of their own, may find themselves in difficulty, with no essential household and personal items. They are also working closely with government agencies and large charities to support Afghan refugee families. The best way they can support them at this time is by providing basic household items, but for this they need funds. You can help Afghan refugee families right now by making donations to allow them to purchase new kettles and toasters, mattresses, duvets and pillows etc. School uniforms will also be needed, as will toiletries, healthcare products, and so much more. You can make a difference!

Yolo Jo's Charity was set up by our friend Dave & his wife Jo. After Jo was diagnosed with terminal cancer in December 2011 they decided to grab life with both hands and squeezed in loads of amazing adventures between hospital visits before she passed away. Dave believes that those experiences kept Jo going longer than they expected. Yolo Jo's charity is based on providing the same memories for people suffering from terminal cancer, They are a small independent charity that aim to help people forget about their cancer, even for just a few precious hours, offering them bucket list experiences. You can help fund more of those experiences!
