Dementia Support Advisor Karen's Walking Marathon

Hi, I'm Karen, fortunate enough to be a Dementia Support Worker for Dementia Forward; an amazing charity dedicated to providing services to people with memory problems all over North Yorkshire. Dementia Forward provides fantastic Hub Clubs, Dementia Cafes, and have Support Workers offering advice and information to families who need support to live well with dementia. We also offer training which raises awareness and helps loved ones develop an understanding of the challenges people face when living with dementia.

All charities need fundraising events! So, on Sunday 17th September 2023 I am walking a marathon, my route will be 12 laps of York Racecourse. All monies raised will go back into providing services for York and North Yorkshire.

I will need help... everyone who can walk a lap with me, please come and join me! The laps make the event inclusive to everyone.
