My Three Peaks Challenge

Event date: 1st August 2015

Karl Edwards is raising money for Citizens Advice Nottingham & District

My story

Hi All! I am looking to complete the UK three peaks challenge on 1st-2nd August 2015 to raise money for the Nottingham Citizen's Advice Bureau. The challenge for those of you who don't know is to climb the three highest peaks in England Scotland and Wales in 24 hours, which also includes the driving time! Also to add to my personal challenge I will not only be walking the three mountains but helping drive between them too!

All money raised will be going to the Nottingham CAB with whom I have volunteered as a gateway assessor for since November 2013. They provide brilliant free and independent legal advice on a whole host of topics from benefits, to debt and housing issues. However, to continue to provide the excellent service they do for the people of Nottingham they rely heavily on voluntary donations, especially since the reduction in legal aid which came into force a few years ago. Therefore, this money will help to allow the bureau to continue to train their volunteers and staff to provide the best service possible for those who are vulnerable!

I hope you agree that this is a worthwhile cause and if you feel like donating it would be greatly appreciated!

Karl :)
