Royal Parks Half Marathon

Katherine Featherstone is raising money for The Help Tibet Trust
My story
On Saturday 12 October I shall be taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon encompassing the four Royal Parks of central London. Starting and finishing in Hyde Park, the run will wind its way through the stunning autumn landscapes of St. James's Park and The Green Park, as well as parts of Kensington Gardens which have never officially been raced through before!
I shall be running the half marathon for Help Tibet, a charity which works in partnership with people of Tibetan origin to promote sustainable communities and to develop initiatives which support the well being of the most vulnerable.
The Help Tibet Trust was established in 1988 to help those Tibetans who still live in difficult conditions in Nepal and India. They provide practical help and support in the refugee camps as well as helping to preserve the Tibetan culture in exile.
