Katy's London Marathon Challenge for Kent MS Therapy Centre

My Sister-In-Law was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when she was 21, 6 months after she had her first baby. She started off with minor symptoms including blurred vision and pins & needles in her hands and feet. Now with 3 children and in her late 30's her symptoms have progressively got worse. She has balance and co-ordination problems, muscle weakness, spasticity, chronic fatigue, lesions on her brain and spinal cord which cause her severe mobility problems and now has to use a mobility scooter at all times.
She has struggled throughout and being so young when she was diagnosed she didn't find anywhere that she could go and chat and talk to others alike. Recently she has found the Kent MS Therapy Centre which offers services that can help improve the quality of life for those people living with the condition along with a lovely environment which is positive, caring and supportive to both her and her family.
