My story
For nearly 40 years, Kasanka Trust has protected Kasanka National Park and the surrounding conservation buffer areas, home to the world's largest mammal migration, where Straw-coloured fruit bats gather each year alongside an incredible diversity of wildlife. Through community partnerships, environmental education, and anti-poaching efforts, the Trust has helped safeguard wildlife and support local people, while maintaining this internationally important landscape for future generations.
Today, an urgent funding shortfall threatens these vital activities. Emergency support is needed to maintain essential operations and continue working with local communities. Without immediate help, years of conservation progress could be at risk. With our renewed MoU partnership with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife for the next three years rejuvinating our relationship, we are keen to keep the momentum going forward. Every donation, large or small, will make a direct difference in protecting one of Africa’s greatest conservation success stories. Please help us to keep Kasanka safe for wildlife, local communities and future generations.
