Pub quiz for Nepal

The questions have been asked, the mezze munched and the quiz is over.

So far due to your generosity we have raised a total of over £4,500 including donations on this site, the raffle on the night, and donations in person. Thank you all so much.

Due to the huge generosity of local businesses Lloyd Landrover, Crabtree & Crabtree, A Hume, Crop Services Ltd, Hastings & Co and CKD Galbraith all the costs of the evening were paid for so every penny of that money has gone/will go direct to the Bulldog Trust's work in Nepal.

A few very kind people have said they would like to donate even though the quiz is over, and so we are leaving this page open to allow that. Please do keep the donations coming in. Every last penny is so desperately needed.

All the money raised will go to the Bulldog Trust's Nepal Earthquake Recovery Appeal (itself one of the top pages on everyclick). The Bulldog Trust is a UK based grant-giving charitable organisation. Its head of grants and philanthropy, Alison Marston was born and raised in Nepal and speaks Nepali as her first language. She has now flown out to Nepal and the intention of the trust is that she can then make on the ground immediate decisions about funding small grass-roots NGOs so that money can get to them straight away and start helping as soon as possible. It is highly likely that money raised on here today will be helping people tomorrow.
