Hi Sis. I know this could be your last swim after proving yourself once again over the last 2 years of this re-instated event, which we all used to do as a family and as members of the Swimming Club at Inverness Baths back in the 1960s. You were awarded a plaque then as the youngest swimmer to ever complete the feat. Indeed you would be prevented from doing such a thing today because of age restrictions for the health and safety of younger participants. Continued success for this 2024 event and for your fundraising which I am happy to kick-start with £30.

My story

My name is Pat Sanderson. I live in the kinmylies area of Inverness. My brother Raymond Ireland and I are looking forward to our 3rd year challenge of the Kessock Ferry Swim as we did the swim annually on August during the 60’s through the L.M.S. Swimming Club with our brothers, sister Lynne & also other club members. The great thing now with the annual swim is that you can raise money for the local charities which makes the swim more exciting & memorable.
