My story
I’m taking part in the Kettering 5k to raise funds for Accommodation Concern, a local charity working to prevent and relieve homelessness and poverty across Northamptonshire.
I’m supporting AC because I believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home, someone to turn to when life gets difficult, and the chance to build a more hopeful future.
When you’re worried about keeping a roof over your head, paying bills or putting food on the table, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming. AC helps people make sense of their options and take those first steps forward, offering practical support with housing, money, debt and benefits, alongside supported accommodation for people who need help towards independent living.
But it’s about more than practical advice. It’s about being listened to without judgement, rebuilding confidence and knowing you don’t have to face difficult times alone.
That’s why I’m putting my best foot forward—and asking for your support!
Your donation will help AC continue this work, supporting people in our community through challenging times and helping them move towards a more secure future.
Whatever you’re able to give, I would be really grateful. Sharing this page with friends, family and colleagues would also be a wonderful way to help.
Thank you for sponsoring me and supporting Accommodation Concern. Your kindness will give me plenty of encouragement on the day and help make a difference beyond the finish line.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Accommodation Concern.
