After seven days and more than 200 miles we arrived yesterday in Manchester at the end of 7 in 7: The Grand Finale.
I want to start by saying a big thank you to the team. They’ve been incredible this week and none of this would have been possible without them.
To everyone who has cheered on – as the week went on the crowds just got bigger! Thank you for your support – every smile, every message, every hug, every story shared will stay with us always.
To the schools, clubs and organisations who have lined the route, thank you. We’ve seen you, we’ve heard you and we’re grateful.
To anyone who was donated, thank you for helping us make a difference. The money we’ve raised will be going to six amazing MND charities who work hard to support people living with MND and their families while also funding vital research into new treatments.
To the MND community – thank you for continuing to inspire us; and to the Rugby League family thank you for welcoming us along the way. This week has shown us the strength of the love and compassion people have people with MND, their families and carers. We must all keep on playing our part and keep on banging the drum.
And finally to Rob who has been right there with us every step of every mile along the way. Thank you.
