Rugby at King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys

Camp Hill Boys School has a proud rugby tradition built on teamwork, commitment, and excellence.  As we celebrate the 80th birthday of Mr George Cookson, we are launching a special fundraising campaign to support future rugby tours and create lasting memories for our players.
 
Since joining Camp Hill Boys in 1967, Mr Cookson has inspired generations of pupils through his dedication to teaching, sport, and the values that define our school.  His passion for rugby and commitment to student development have left an enduring legacy, making it fitting that this campaign is launched in his honour.
 
Funds raised will help provide 1st XV Rugby Captains' Blazers to recognise leadership, commitment, and achievement, as well as rugby tour holdalls, pin badges, and cufflinks that celebrate the experience of representing Camp Hill and create lifelong memories for those involved.
 
Rugby tours provide much more than competitive fixtures.  They develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, resilience, and lifelong friendships.  Your support will help ensure that more pupils can benefit from these valuable experiences while preserving the proud traditions of Camp Hill rugby.
 
At the same time, every donation serves as a tribute to Mr Cookson's extraordinary contribution to our school community over nearly six decades.
