KINNERS CUP Fundraising Charity Football Match for PAPYRUS & MacMillan Cancer Support

The time has come,

On the 27th of September 2026 I will be fundraising and an organised Charity Football Game “Kinners Cup💙” for our dear boy.

This event will be held at Harrowby United Football Club. 19 Dickens Road Grantham NG31 9QY ‼️

This event will be in memory of my best mate James McKinnon who we sadly lost on 27th September last year, aged just 24 years old. It will be also for my mother who is currently battling Cancer.

James was a devoted supporter of PAPYRUS, and in his memory, I want to carry forward the compassion and generosity he showed effortlessly. By continuing to support this incredible charity, I hope to help them keep saving young lives through their vital awareness work and the life-changing support of HOPELINE247. Inspired by my friend, who ran the Manchester Marathon in April to raise awareness, I want to play my part in ensuring that no young person feels alone in what could be their darkest moments.

This event will also support and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that provides vital physical, emotional, and financial care to those facing cancer. From funding specialist nurses to offering a dedicated support line, online communities, and guidance through the financial challenges that cancer can bring, their work touches countless lives every day.
This cause is especially close to my heart, as they have stood by my mum throughout her ongoing battle with cancer. Their compassion, support, and reassurance has made an incredibly difficult time a little more bearable, and I will always be grateful for the role they have played in helping her through it so far - Mumma I’m so proud of you💛

With your support, we have the power to make a real difference to the challenges people face every single day. No donation is ever too small—each contribution has the potential to change, and even save, lives.

• £10 could help fund life-saving helpline support at PAPYRUS, offering hope to a young person in their darkest moment
• £4 could provide 50 patient information booklets for those facing cancer
• £7 could fund a nurse-led holistic needs assessment, ensuring someone feels supported and understood

My goal is to raise £5,000, which will be shared between both charities. By supporting this, you’re helping two vital causes—reaching young people in crisis and those battling cancer—making a lasting difference to so many lives.
