Surrey half marathon for Engage Woking Schools
Event date: 11th March 2018
Mike Kirtley is raising money for Engage Woking Schools
My story
Ruth and I (and younger son PK who will be much quicker) are running the Surrey half marathon on 11 March and would like to raise some money for Engage Woking Schools a charity close to our hearts which provides Christian input and a presence in most of the schools in the Woking area. Any donations gratefully received and will be used in a very good cause!
Well, so sorry to say Ruth and I were hit by a nasty bug on Friday and could not do the run. But the good news is that PK got round in 1 hour 28 minutes, thus preserving the family honour, and had a lovely morning for the run.
Thank you for your kind donations everyone and disappointed we could not run but at least one member of the family did the race!
