My story
I’m running the Brighton Marathon in support of DEBRA UK, the national charity for people living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
EB is a rare genetic condition that makes the skin extremely fragile. Even the smallest amount of friction can cause painful blisters and wounds. There’s currently no cure, and managing the condition can be a lifelong challenge for the individuals and families affected.
DEBRA provides vital practical, emotional and specialist clinical support to people with EB, and funds research aimed at improving treatments and quality of life. Their work helps families facing daily challenges that most of us will never experience, and I’d like to play a small part in supporting that.
If you’re able to donate, your support will go directly to improving care, funding research, and helping DEBRA continue their essential work.
Thank you for reading, and for supporting if you can.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto DEBRA.
