In the Middle East

I have spent the last three years working in Cape Town, South Africa with a project that aims to give young people a purpose and passion. At the start of 2020 I moved to the Middle East with the intention of working long-term in the region. I am currently studying Arabic full-time in order to be able to communicate!

I love to work with kids and alongside families who have fled conflict/war, or are part of a marginalised sector of society. I first visited the region twelve years ago where I worked with families at a centre for disabled children, and since then have had many opportunities to visit the region. I’m excited to be based in the region now, but also have a steep learning curve ahead of me!
