23/01/2026 OMG 78 days to go, where did the last 10 days go. BP have declined to sponsor any of Lavinia's fuel. Premier Inn not yet replied to a request for some sponsorship. BBC Look East have replied positively and are interested to cover things nearer the day. Need to contact local Radio and TV in the regions we are driving through. Paul has fitted new distributor leads and trying to find a better deal on new wheel bearings as we have been quoted £220 per wheel!

My story
To support the work and raise awareness of mental Health charity Reclaim Life. Harry Sear and Paul Harold are going to drive their 100 year old Talbot car Lavinia 3500 miles around the coastline of Britain. In the South Bedfordshire, voluntary organisation Reclaim Life has through their unique model of therapeutic life coaching helped over 2000 people suffering emotional crisis. On their stop overs Harry and Paul are going to tell the Reclaim Life story to inspire others to be trained and bring Reclaim Life to their communities. 12/01/2026. Only 88 days to the start of 100year old Lavinia's 3500 mile journey round Britain to raise money and awareness of Reclaim Life. Telling the Reclaim Life Story to inspire other communities to set up their own service. Lavinia id running well at the moment here she is in the yard ready for a trip out.
2026 is nearly here. Time to start the publicity campaign for Lavinia's Road trip. starting on 11th April Twenty one overnight stops are planned so with the help of introductions from Leighton Buzzard Rotary Club we will be able to tell the Reclaim life story to twenty one other communities country wide to inspire them to start their own Reclaim Life group.

Lavinia the 99 year old Talbot 14/45 has had a busy year attending Classic car rallies, hill climbs, carnivals etc , publicizing Reclaim Life and next years 3000 mile Road Trip. The start date is going to be 17th April setting off early from the Reclaim Life Office in Leighton Buzzard stopping for a, 100th birthday of the Talbot 14/45, celebration lunch with the Talbot Owners Club, at the still existing, Art Deco 1920's head office of Talbot Automobiles, in Barlby Road North Kensington and then onto the coast at Broadstairs Kent.
