KAREN CAMPBELL - LEAPING INTO THE UNKNOWN!

My best friend of over fifty years, Jackie was diagnosed with MS in 2015. It’s a disease of the central nervous system which is often progressive and currently incurable.

Jackie is a regular user of the services offered by the Kent MS Therapy Centre, in fact she often sends me selfies sitting in the oxygen therapy tank looking like an extra from a Dr Who episode! The centre is completely self funded, receiving no government or NHS funding towards the £750k annual operating costs, and provides a range of services for those living with MS including families and carers.

Jackie wanted to give something back and not content with a cake sale or raffle, she thought a skydive would be “a good idea” for a fundraiser! So here we are, feeling a little bit excited and slightly nervous at the same time if I’m honest , volunteering to join her in leaping into the unknown as part of team Jackie’s Jumpers!

I’m told it will be an experience never forgotten, so as I only expect to do it once in my lifetime, I’m asking for any support you might be able to offer, to help the Kent MS Therapy Centre continue with its valuable work.
