Our story
It all started with a conversation in a bar......
On the morning of Friday 21st June George and Lee will set out on a bike ride from the French port of Caen and head south for 438km until we get to a colleague's house near La Chatre in the Pouligny Notre Dame community. We're hoping to complete this as a no-sleep unsupported challenge in an estimated time of 28-30 hours. Gulp.
As well as the 'personal development opportunity' this challenge offers we thought it would be a great idea to raise money for one of Gatwick Airport's chosen charities, the Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) Air Ambulance and also the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF - The Soldiers Charity). If you're in the mood for supporting two worthwhile charities anything you can donate is gratefully received and will help boost us when that 'just crack on' feeling starts to fade.
