Leeds Half Marathon for Debra

I will be running the Leeds half marathon to raise money for Debra The Butterfly Skin Charity.
DEBRA is a UK national medical research charity and patient support organisation for people living with the very rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, epidermolysis bullosa (EB) also known as ‘butterfly skin'.

My nephew Jack was born in January 2024 and shortly after birth was diagnosed with EB Simplex. The charity provided amazing support to the whole family after the shock of his diagnosis and continue to offer advice and will do throughout his life. Alongside my brother I will be running the half marathon to raise awareness for the condition as well as raising money so they can continue doing their amazing work for as long as possible.
