Wren Lawson-Foley is raising money for The James Burke Foundation
On the 11th of May I (Wren Lawson-Foley) will be running the Leeds half marathon with Kelvin Akhigbe and Will Rawlings will be running the full thing all in aid of JBF. All donations are appreciated.
The James Burke Foundation was established in 2018, by Sharon Burke. This was done in memory of Sharon's son James, who was a student at the University of Leeds and a player at LURL, from 2014 to 2017. Sadly, in 2017, James Burke took his own life. Sharon set up the James Burke Foundation to raise awareness of men's mental health and to try and tackle the stigma surrounding it, in an effort to try and ensure that these issues are properly understood.
This is an unbelievable charity and one we are proud to support at LURL. Any money raised will go straight to the James Burke Foundation, so that they may continue their outstanding work by campaigning, educating and supporting their projects in the community, in order to help those who are suffering
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto The James Burke Foundation.
