My story
I'm running the Ennerdale 50k at Ennerdale Water in the Lake District on 18th October 2015 and raising money for Invest in ME.
ME, also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), is a very misunderstood debilitating chronic condition which severely impacts the lives of those living with it. There is very little funding available for support for people living with ME or research into treatment.
Invest in ME is a campaign run by volunteers with the aim of setting up a UK Centre of Excellence which will provide proper examinations and diagnosis for ME patients and a coordinated strategy of biomedical research into ME in order to find treatment(s) and cure(s).
