Living Advent Windows

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
This December, our community is coming together to make a difference.

We’re creating a Living Advent Calendar across Bernard St, Church St, Dalton St and Grange St in St Albans. Each day from 1st to 24th December, a beautifully decorated window will be revealed - bringing light, creativity and community spirit to our streets.

But behind the festive fun lies a serious purpose.

We’re raising money for Open Door, a vital local charity supporting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the St Albans area. Open Door provides:

• A safe night shelter
• A welcoming daytime drop-in centre
• Hot meals, advice, and emotional support
• Help with resettlement and rebuilding lives

Your donation—big or small—will directly help someone in our community who has nowhere else to turn.
