Lizzie's wingwalk for 1Voice

This year I am Lady Captain at Antrobus Golf Club. Part of being Lady Captain is doing events to raise money for the chosen charity of the year.

A couple of years ago I raised some money for charity by shaving my head. People said I was brave, but it wasn't, I felt like it was a bit of an easy option for fundraising. So this time, to raise money for 1Voice, I believe I do need to do something that I would consider to be "brave".

So, I have decided to go Wing Walking.  On 19th August I am going to Lincoln airfield where I will be strapped onto the top of a small aircraft, which will fly between 100ft and 700ft and speeds between 80 mph and 100mph for around 15 minutes flight time. At the very thought of it I am seesawing between periods of great excitement, and sheer terror.
