London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 - in support of WCF and Brooke

We are a team of ten liverymen, friends, and family, coming together to take on a half marathon in support of two exceptional charities close to our hearts: Brooke and The Worshipful Company of Farriers.

By supporting our team, you’re helping working horses around the world, strengthening farriery as a profession, and providing vital support to farriers and their families when they need it most.

Brooke: Around 100 million working equines support the livelihoods of 600 million people worldwide, yet many suffer from exhaustion, malnutrition, and disease due to limited access to proper care. Brooke works with owners, communities, local providers, and policy makers to deliver both immediate help and long‑lasting improvements. Last year, they were able to directly reach 1.8 million equines in need, thanks to the generosity of donations. Supported by the Worshipful Company of Farriers, they also drive the Global Farriery Project, raising professional standards in farriery, improving hoof health for millions of animals, and strengthening sustainable livelihoods for the families who rely on them.

The Worshipful Company of Farriers supports farriers and their families when illness, injury, or hardship strikes. Alongside this, the WCF plays a key role in upholding professional standards under the Farriers Registration Act 1975, helping prevent cruelty and protect horse welfare by ensuring shoeing is carried out by skilled, properly trained farriers.
