London Marathon 2025 x DEBRA

I will be running the 2025 London Marathon to raise funds for DEBRA.

DEBRA is a UK based charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

EB, also known as butterfly skin, is a group of rare, genetic skin conditions that cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch. EB affects 500,000 people worldwide and those with severe EB live in constant, debilitating pain. There is currently no cure for EB.

My beautiful sister Holly is one of 5000 people in the UK affected by EB. Fortunately, Holly has a less severe form of EB. Despite this, the condition presents her with daily challenges and I know that she is immensely grateful for all the support and guidance DEBRA have provided her with.

EB is still a relatively unknown disease, so your donations will support the clinical trials that are working to ensure that in future, there is an effective drug treatment for every type of EB. Not only this, but your donation will also enable DEBRA to provide an enhanced programme of care and support for those living with EB, like my sister Holly.
