Samantha Langley is raising money for SV2 - Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence
My story
Please help me to raise as much money as possible to support Derbyshire Rape Crisis. I am taking part in the London marathon as a personal goal and would like to use it to raise money for this charity.
I have first hand experience of how valuable this service is to both men and women affected by this distressing crime, as they supported me when I was assaulted and raped. A combination of my family, friends and the service provided by DRC got me to where I am today. But there are many others that need our help.
Please don't hide rape and abuse away - give sufferers a voice and donate a little something to my challenge and our cause and tell your friends about us too.
A member of DRC's staff told me that my recovery would start with fairy steps. They were right, but those steps have got me to here - the London Marathon.
Please help us to help others take those fairy steps on their road to recovery. Many Thanks to You All.
