Louis Costello-Wright - Ghana Expedition 2014

Hi Everyone - On Saturday 14th September, I successfully completed the challenge of a 10k Swim, 10k Walk and 30k Bike Ride in 8 hours 34 minutes. It took me 4 hours 1 minute for the swim, 1 hours 43 minutes for the walk and 2 hours 50 minutes for the bike ride. I found the swim especially hard and had hoped to finish earlier but it was all so tiring!

My name is Louis Costello-Wright, I am 12 years old and just started in year 8 at Oakwood Park Grammar School, Kent.

I have been chosen by my school to take part in a
ten day expedition to a school in Elmina, Ghana. It takes place in April 2014.

We are going to design and help build a playground, help extend the children?s curriculum and arrange a sports day.

As part of my trip I have to raise £2000 through fundraising. I am doing many different things but
my main focus is my 50k challenge. This will be a 10K SWIM, 10K WALK and 30K BIKE RIDE on Saturday 14th September 2013. I would be very grateful if you would sponsor me to
