Event date: 11th May 2024

Ella Jones are raising money for The George Pantziarka Tp53 Trust and World Cancer Research Fund

Our story

On Saturday 11th of May my team and I will be completing a 12k run across the English country side tackling over 100 obstacles and a whole lot of mud at nuclear races.

Why have we chosen these charity’s ?

Firstly you probably have never heard of li fraumeni syndrome…
What is it? It is a rare hereditary genetic disorder that increases the risk that you and your family members will develop cancer. People who are female at birth who have Li-Fraumeni syndrome have a nearly 100% chance of developing breast cancer. And this is actually something which is extra close to our hearts as our lovely Katie cole-fallon who will be racing at nuclear races with us on the 11th has to live with it day in day out and has been closely affected by the loss this has caused.

Secondly we have world cancer research fund. This needs no explaining I know I’m not alone in knowing to many people who have suffered, are suffering and have lost their battle to this horrible disease. There has been lots of amazing progress with this research but it’s not done till we can save everyone!

We will be insanely grateful for any donations or even to come help support and raise awareness with us at nuclear races rush 2024!
