Give the gift of literacy for Nikit's first birthday

I have loved reading every since I was asked to read "Little Women" for homework in 3rd grade. I was assigned 10 pages but ended up reading the whole book in one sitting. This sparked a life-long love affiar with books - a passion that I hope to pass on to Nikit (and one that I like to imagine he already has when I see him enjoying his many picture books). I can't imagine not being able to read, but unfortunately this is a reality for millions of children worldwide. Nihar and I would like to do our part in helping those who work so hard to tackle this issue.
