Stevie Commins is raising money for Pawprints Dog Rescue

My story

We are raising money in memory of Lucy Commins for paw prints a charity that was close to Lucy's heart. Close family and friends are taking part in the 2016 Morrisons Great Birmingham Run. (Participants are Scott Commins, Sharne Commins, Stevie Commins, Danny Webster, Aimee Bostock and Lorraine Kerry)
Lucy who's life was tragically taken in February 2014 when the car she was traveling in was hit by a speeding car involved in a high speed race.
16 year old Lucy, from Bedworth in Warwickshire, was a vivacious young girl who was well-loved by friends, family and the local community. She was a keen animal lover and was devoted to the family dog, Lady the Doberman. Lucy's father Scott has made it his mission to support the work at paw prints and is determined to find a way to remember Lucy that reflected her generous spirit and the things in life that she loved the most. In particular, paw prints are currently having an area of woodland turned into an environmental enrichment area at our kennels, and Scott has already raised funding towards this project, almost £3,500 at a Memorial Event for Lucy in 2015. Work on the park is ongoing with lots of support from local businesses who have sent teams of workers over to clear the park and lay pathways. Our next task is to completely fence in the one acre site.
Since paw prints became a registered charity in 2012, they have rescued and rehomed over 700 dogs in the local area. All dogs are fully assessed, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered before being matched to their new and forever homes. Paw prints have no government funding, relying solely on donations and fundraising activities to continue their work. We would be delighted if you could support and motivate our participation in the half marathon run in October.
Should you require any further information on paw prints work, please do not hesitate to contact them
A massive thank you on behalf of all Lucy's family, friends and the paw prints charity😀
