Lydia Dunham is raising money for St Michael's Hospice (Hastings and Rother) and The Sara Lee Trust
Hi everyone, Thanks for taking the time to visit my donation page!
I am running two half marathons this year - the Hastings Half on 24th March and the Cardiff Half on 6th October.
The 14th January this year marks 15 years since my wonderful mum passed away from breast cancer, aged only 42. I have always wanted to challenge myself to do something in her memory and to make her proud, and 2024 is the year!
Mum was cared for in her final weeks by the amazing team at St Michael's Hospice in Hastings. They also supported us as a family both before and after her death, something we will always be grateful for.
Mum also received amazing care and support therapies from the Sara Lee Trust based in the Hospice, which benefitted her greatly and made her much more comfortable despite being so unwell.
Knowing that Mum was cared for at the Hospice with such compassion and with her quality of life being the first priority still brings much comfort to me all these years later.
I hope any money raised can help to allow these wonderful charities to continue to provide the amazing care that they do. Thank you so much for any donations ❤️

3km warm up at a conversational pace (no faster than 5:40/km), 60s walking rest, keeping things easy for the majoirty. Within the warm up do 4 x 100m fast 'strides' aiming for around 4:45/km
4 reps of:
• 1km at your target Half Marathon pace of 5:25/km, 90s walking rest
2km cool down at a conversational pace (or slower!)
