Raising funds for Malawi

Event date: 18th October 2015

Christine Crathorne is raising money for Network For A Better World

My story

The Quakers Running Club (Darlington) are off to Amsterdam this year for their annual European trip. I decided to run the half marathon to raise money for Network for a Better World after hearing about the plight of people in Malawi from one of the charity's volunteers - Damian Wynne. It's been 10 long years since I ran a half marathon so hopefully the old legs will carry me round the course at Amsterdam. All funds raised will be used to improve washing facilities as part of the charity's commitment to save lives and promote better health (and thereby school attendance) for the longer term.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Network For A Better World.
