My story
October 2022 marks 10 years since my mum, Carol Russell, passed away from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. I’m getting back on my bike to celebrate mum’s life and the amazing work of HaTS who are based within The Christie Hospital.
During the toughest time in mum’s life the whole team at HaTS were there to provide the simple but effective things to make her comfortable such as complimentary therapies whilst the nurses provided laughter and support throughout mums diagnosis and treatment.
