Manny's Jumping Out of a Plane!!!

Event date: 15th May 2011

Manny is raising money for British Red Cross Japan Earthquake Appeal

My story

So here it is, for some insane reason I have committed to throwing myself out of a plane on Sunday 15th May all in the name of charity! That charity is the British Red Cross Japan Earth Quake appeal for all those recently affected by the earthquake and resultant tsunami. Also seeing as i work for Japanese company called Kyocera in Reading it seemed like a great opportunity to give something back to the company's home country. I will be doing a tandem skydive (and not a single one) for the following reasons: (1) I wouldnt have a scooby doo what I was doing if I was to do it on my own and would probably end up missing the cord and dying...and (2) it gives you all the chance to get in contact with the instructor in advance to pay him not pull the cord and instead release me to my impending death while he sails back to earth with a smile on his face! Either way it's a win win for the Facebook public! :-) Anyway, look I know times are tough for everyone out there with the statement 'Charity Starts At Home' ringing true for a lot of people but anything you can give, big or small, could make a massive difference to the lives of many people who have nothing left after such devastation. So please help me reach my target and wish me luck as I throw myself out of a plane (bald) head first!! Oh and in case you were wondering, I am paying for the cost of the actual skydive out of my own pocket so every single penny I receive in sponsorship will go directly to the Charity and will start making a huge difference!!! Lots of Love, Manny/Mandip/Mansfield Etc.... x
