Marathon miles for Stratford RDA

Hello friends, family and supporters.

After years of applying I got a ballot place for the London marathon in 2020, just one small glitch- I was due to have a baby in the January. Evelyn was born, then came Covid, then came Sebby (second baby) and then came injury. So here we are in 2024 and I am desperate to finally make the start line in this iconic race.

Stratford RDA is an incredible charity that helps riders of all ages, facing various physical and cognitive challenges find freedom, therapy and empowerment through partnering with horses.

Several years ago, I had the privilege of volunteering at Stratford RDA and Mum continues to be a devoted volunteer. Witnessing firsthand the transformative power of horses was really inspiring. Stratford RDA are a charity and rely solely on voluntary help, fundraising and donations to deliver their services.

I feel very lucky to be in a position where I am able to take on a marathon. RDA have a motto that ‘it’s what you can do that counts’ and raising money for this charity will help riders take on their own challenges.
