March of the Day 2026

Jay, Michelle, Helen, Michelle, Carrie and Andy are taking part in the March of The Day 3- Day 1, on the 1st June 2026 to raise money for the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. 

The walk is 34 miles in total.
There are 2 parts of the walk, all to be completed in 1 day.

Part 1 is 18 miles, starting at Anfield, going on to Goodison, Hill Dickinson, then onto Widnes Vikings.

Part 2 is 16 miles and goes from Widnes Vikings to Washington Wolves and then onto St Helens stadium. We are hoping to complete this in 12 hours. 

March of the Day 3 is a 350 mile Sunday walk around 47 football and rugby stadia between Liverpool (base of the Darby Rimmer foundation) and the Rob Burrow Centre in Leeds. The walk is in support of Stephen Darby and Marcus Stewart and in memory of the Leeds Rhinos legend, Rob Burrow. 

The Darby Rimmer MND foundation was set up by Stephen Darby and ex British serviceman Chris Rimmer and has 3 main aims:
1 to raise awareness of MND
2 to support families of those who have been diagnosed with MND
3 to fund research into treatments and a cure for the disease 
Money raised for Leeds Hospitals Charity will be used to support the Rob Burrow Centre.
